EUGENE C. STRUCKHOFF, III --  NEW HAMPSHIRE DWI DEFENSE SINCE 1969

GRADUATE OF HARVARD LAW SCHOOL

FOUNDING MEMBER NATIONAL COLLEGE FOR DUI DEFENSE

Gene Struckhoff is a 1966 Graduate of Princeton University, a 1969 graduate of Harvard Law School, and has practiced DWI defense in New Hampshire since shortly after being admitted to the New Hampshire Bar in 1969. Gene Struckhoff is one of a hundred founding members of the National College for DUI Defense, a national organization of experienced DUI practitioners throughout the United States dedicated to promote knowledge and training of DWI/DUI attorneys. The National College site includes a map designed to enable potential DWI clients to locate a member lawyer in most States, including New Hampshire. At Struckhoff Law Office, your DWI case will not be handled by a younger, less-experienced associate or paralegal – Gene Struckhoff will personally represent you at all times.

For more than thirty-five years, an ever-increasing portion of his practice has been devoted to the defense of people charged with driving while under the influence of intoxicating liquor in New Hampshire. Today, and for more than twenty-five years, that practice is almost exclusively devoted to the defense of DWI/DUI and related charges. He knows how profound an impact a DWI arrest can have on one’s life. Your DWI charge is important to you, and it is important to us at Struckhoff Law Office as well. Here, we believe in providing practical, sensible solutions to the legal, family, and personal problems that a DWI arrest can cause. Gene’s wife Cheryl, who serves as Office Manager, runs the administrative side of the office, assists Gene, and equally clearly understands the importance to you of your DWI/DUI arrest. When you contact us, do not expect formality, as we both believe in making our clients both welcome and comfortable; our office atmosphere is casual. When you call in, you are most likely to speak first with Cheryl, although do not be surprised if you get Gene Struckhoff answering his own phone.

At Struckhoff Law Office, we always offer a free initial consultation and evaluation of your New Hampshire DWI/DUI case. To obtain that free consultation, either call us at 603-448-2477, email us at ecsiii@nhduidefense.com, or complete and submit our Questionnaire, which provides us with much of the information we need to determine how and when we need to act, as DWI law presents some critical time deadlines. All information about you and your charges are confidential and will not be shared with anyone. If you are considering contacting a lawyer about your DWI arrest, please do not delay – I cannot stress too strongly that prompt action is important.

Struckhoff Law Office is conveniently located at 103 Hanover Street, in Lebanon, New Hampshire, only about ¼ mile from Exit 18 of I-89, not far from Dartmouth College and the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. You may want to follow the interactive map link above.

MORE ABOUT STRUCKHOFF LAW OFFICE AND THE CONTENTS OF ITS WEBSITE

WHY YOU SHOULD CONSULT WITH A DWI ATTORNEY: At Struckhoff Law Office an initial consultation and evaluation costs you nothing. That evaluation of your case may well reveal that you can significantly benefit from being represented by a DWI attorney. DWI defense has become more and more difficult to do effectively; the legislature constantly changes the DWI/DUI laws in this State, making the law increasingly complex, often making prosecutions difficult for the police. To deal properly with that large and complex body of law to your benefit, you need a DWI defense lawyer who knows the law intimately, has a vast range of experience with the myriad issues that DWI practice demands, and with the many Judges, prosecutors, police officers, laboratory personnel that are involved in the legal system. Gene Struckhoff has that experience. He is also known for coming up with novel ways to defend DWI cases, keeps up with the latest law, and brings imagination, dedication, and hard work to the defense of DWI/DUI cases in the State of New Hampshire. For an example of the imagination that he uses to defend DWI charges, see The New Math, a satirical article on the types of barriers that the State of New Hampshire has devised to make the defense of DWI charges difficult; this article was first published on the web site of the National College for Dui Defense.

HOW TO USE THIS SITE: You may also want to visit our NH DWI Defense Information or Frequently asked questions pages, where you'll find answers on what you need to know about DWI/DUI defense in New Hampshire. For Gene Struckhoff’s philosophy of DWI/DUI defense, read The Art of War. For his views on the importance of defending DWI /DUI charges, see WHY I DEFEND DWI’S. For interesting developments and issues in DWI law, see DWI News.

FIRM POLICY ON CLIENT RELATIONS: The philosophy that guides Struckhoff Law Office are Gene and Cheryl Struckhoff's belief that all the firm’s clients are entitled to courteous treatment, understanding, and the best legal service possible. Gene sets forth his views on dealing with clients as follows: "We listen to what you have to say, and we want to know what it is that you are trying to accomplish. We seek to work with you and keep you informed of what is going on with your case. We firmly believe that you are entitled to know what the law is, what we are doing to help you, and what your legal choices are, in order that you, not us, make the final decision, based on our advice and expertise. We also understand how people feel when charged with DWI from representing literally thousands of DWI defendants. Cheryl is particularly good at making people understand that neither of us at Struckhoff Law Office, nor most good people in general, condemn you in any way for being picked up for DWI. I have represented doctors, lawyers, judges, police officers, probation officers, truck drivers, and people in all walks of life, ranging in age from 16 to 80+, even a driver’s education instructor or two. We view an extremely important part of our job as getting you through what is not an easy experience with the least possible damage to your life. We believe in making our clients as comfortable as possible under the difficult conditions created by their DWI arrest. We realize how important your DWI case is to you and obtaining the best possible result for every client is important to us. Please, don’t be afraid to call us."

FIRM POLICY ON LEGAL FEES: We are always open and up-front about legal fees. At your initial free consultation, we will not only frankly evaluate your case, but will also discuss with you the amount of our fees and how they are payable. In most cases, we charged fixed fees, so that you will know the specific and entire cost of your legal fees in advance of your decision to hire us. We do take VISA and MASTERCARD.

HOW TO PROCEED IF YOUR DWI/DUI ARREST IS NOT IN NEW HAMPSHIRE: If you have been charged with DWI in some state other than New Hampshire, Gene Struckhoff is not able to represent you, nor is he able to give you any advice other than to consult with an experienced DWI defense lawyer. You may want to visit the web site of the National College for Dui Defense for a state-by-state listing of other founding members of the College who are fully qualified either to represent you or to direct you to another top DWI defense attorney.
